Discovering Jávea Port (Aduanas del Mar)

The Port is Jávea’s year-round harbour quarter — the working and leisure marina, the Club Náutico sailing club, a fish market and a strip of harbourside seafood restaurants along La Grava. More local and less seasonal than the Arenal.

The character

The Port — Aduanas del Mar — is a characterful, genuinely year-round quarter built around the fishing and leisure harbour. The Club Náutico Jávea is a real boating community with moorings and harbourside dining; the seafront Nuestra Señora de Loreto church, with its striking keel-shaped roof, is the landmark. There’s a fish market and the pebble La Grava beach right on the front.

Everyday life

The Port is more local and less holiday-driven than the Arenal — a place people actually live all year. Apartments and townhouses with harbour life on the doorstep are the typical stock; as a directional guide, roughly €200k–€600k. It’s a flat, easy cycle along the seafront to the Arenal sand.

Seafood & the marina

This is the town’s seafood centre — the day-boat catch lands here, and the harbourside restaurants make the most of it. The directory picks below are the top-rated places around the port and La Grava.
