Sommer in Jávea
Im Sommer verdoppelt Jávea seine Größe, und der Tag stellt sich auf den Kopf. Von Ende Juni bis Mitte September läuft die Stadt im Rhythmus von Strandmorgen, langem Mittagessen und spätem Abend: Der Arenal ist um elf voll, die Buchten früher, und um zehn zu Abend zu essen fühlt sich nach einer Woche normal an. Das Meer leistet die Hauptarbeit — es klettert im Juli und August über 25°C und bleibt bis weit in den September badetauglich, der still und leise der beste Monat von allen ist: dasselbe Wasser, weniger Autos, leichteres Parken. Die Hitze ist Küstenhitze, nicht die brutale des Binnenlands, an den meisten Abenden gemildert von der Brise aus der Bucht. Reservieren Sie im August Restaurants im Voraus, seien Sie vor zehn an den Buchten, und gönnen Sie den Fiestas einen ganzen Abend statt einer Vorbeifahrt — der Hafen und die Altstadt verdienen es beide.
