Jávea · Private renewal-date vault

Your dates: track your Jávea renewals

A private place to keep the real Jávea admin and renewal dates residents juggle — your TIE, padrón, ITV, insurance, licence, SUMA/IBI and more. You enter your own dates; they are saved only in your own browser, and you get a friendly countdown plus an add-to-calendar reminder for each one.

This is a personal tracker for dates you enter yourself — not official, legal or tax advice, and not a source of official deadlines. Renewal windows, documents and fees vary by your situation and change over time, so your own certificate, card or bill and the official source always take precedence. Confirm the current requirement before you act.

Dates Jávea residents usually track

Pick any that apply to you and add your own date — nothing here is filled in for you, and no deadline is implied. Each is a general note on why it matters plus a link to the fuller guide where we have one.

TIE / residency card expiry

Why this matters

Your TIE (foreigner ID / residency card) has an expiry date printed on it and needs renewing before it lapses. The renewal window, documents and fee depend on your card type and situation — read your own card and confirm the current process with the official source. We never set or know your date.

Residencia / health card

Why this matters

Residency documents and your public-health (SIP) card can carry their own renewal or re-registration dates. What applies depends on your status and province — check your own paperwork and confirm with your health centre or the relevant office.

Padrón renewal

Why this matters

The padrón (empadronamiento) sometimes needs periodic renewal or confirmation, particularly for non-EU residents or after a move. Your town hall sets the cycle — check your own certificate and confirm with your ayuntamiento.

NIE document

Why this matters

Some NIE-linked documents and certificates have their own validity or renewal points. Whether and when anything is due depends entirely on your situation — check your own paperwork and the official source.

ITV (vehicle test) due

Why this matters

The ITV is the compulsory roadworthiness test for your vehicle. How often it is due depends on the vehicle's age and type — read the date on your last ITV certificate. We do not set or know your date.

Car insurance renewal

Why this matters

Car insurance is compulsory in Spain and renews on a date set by your policy. Check your own policy documents for the renewal date and compare cover before it rolls over automatically.

Driving licence expiry

Why this matters

Driving licences carry an expiry/renewal date, and a medical check can apply at renewal depending on your age and licence type. Read the date on your own licence and confirm the current process with the DGT.

Home insurance renewal

Why this matters

Home (buildings and/or contents) insurance renews on a date set by your policy. Check your own policy for the renewal date; comparing cover before it auto-renews often pays off.

SUMA / IBI (council tax)

Why this matters

IBI is the annual council property tax, billed via SUMA in this province, with a payment window each year. The amount and dates are set per property and municipality — use your own bill and confirm the current window with SUMA or your town hall.

Rental contract

Why this matters

A rental contract has its own start, end and renewal/notice dates. Check your own signed contract for the exact dates and any notice period; Spanish rental law also sets some minimums.

Passport expiry

Why this matters

Your passport has an expiry date, and many countries require several months' validity remaining to travel. Check the date in your own passport and your destination's rules well ahead — renewals can take time.

Your dates are saved only in this browser (localStorage jg_dates) — no account, no server, no tracking. The add-to-calendar file is created on your own device. Leaving an email for a future reminder is optional; we only store it if you tick consent, and even then your actual dates stay in your browser. How we handle your data

Renewal windows, documents and fees vary by your situation and change over time, so your own certificate, card or bill and the official source always take precedence.
